Applications

Airspace is now part of the perimeter.

The same architecture adapts to any fixed site with a defined perimeter — but the sensor mix, the rules of engagement and the collateral constraints change with the site.

Energy and utilities

The reference case.

Tank farms, refineries, substations and pipelines combine large perimeters with dense infrastructure and a low tolerance for downtime. The layered design in this site was developed around a critical energy facility in a complex urban environment.

Typical threats

Loitering munitions, FPV attack, commercial reconnaissance, under-canopy incursion.

Recommended configuration

Surveillance radar, EO tracking and search, laser jamming and interception, distributed EO under the canopy.

Airports

Wide, low and never empty.

Approach paths and perimeter roads create a broad low-altitude surface that cannot be closed to civil traffic. Detection has to be precise enough to avoid disrupting operations.

Typical threats

Reconnaissance, incursions into restricted airspace, smuggling.

Recommended configuration

Radar, EO search and track, RF detection; integration with civil aviation and airport security systems.

Ports and logistics

Clutter at every altitude.

Cranes, containers and salt air produce radar clutter and a harsh environment. Mixed commercial traffic makes identification as important as detection.

Typical threats

Contraband delivery, reconnaissance, attack on fuel or cargo infrastructure.

Recommended configuration

EO search, radar, RF jamming and laser interception; salt-spray-rated hardware and coastal environmental protection.

Corrections

A payload over the wall.

The threat is usually a small drone carrying a payload over a wall, launched from outside the perimeter and gone in under a minute.

Typical threats

Contraband delivery, phone drops, reconnaissance.

Recommended configuration

Distributed EO, RF detection and directional jamming; protocol decoding to locate the operator.

Borders and government

Less infrastructure, faster setup.

Remote sites and temporary positions need the same detection logic with less infrastructure and faster setup.

Typical threats

Covert crossing, reconnaissance, loitering munitions.

Recommended configuration

Transportable radar and EO, man-portable laser, vehicle-mounted configurations.

Data centres and campuses

Blind spots at roof height.

Roof plant, cooling yards and perimeter fences create blind spots at exactly the altitude where small drones fly.

Typical threats

Reconnaissance, RF and EO surveillance, nuisance incursions.

Recommended configuration

EO search, distributed EO and RF jamming; integration with existing video surveillance and access control.
