Search and track in a single turret, with no hand-off delay.
Overview
The integrated EO search and track system performs search, detection, tracking, ranging and identification in a single turret. It scans a designated airspace, raises an alarm on detection, then switches to track without handing the target to a second sensor.
Removing the hand-off removes the delay. The same unit can search a wide sector and hold a stabilized track on a small UAV, which makes it suitable for sites where a split search-and-track architecture is not practical.
