Transportable Compact Laser Jamming and Interception System
A 3 or 5 kW laser on a transportable platform.
Overview
The transportable compact laser system physically intercepts small UAVs and jams their electro-optical payloads. A 3 kW or 5 kW single-mode fiber laser is emitted through a stabilized tracking and pointing head; the laser unit can sit away from the head and connect by fiber.
The system is modular enough to be relocated and set up quickly, used as a fixed installation, or mounted on a vehicle. It is intended for the last line of defense, after RF jamming has failed or when a hard kill is required.
